23 hair pipe cow bone beads. They measures approx. 7-8 mm. diameter x 31-33 from hole to hole. Hole size 2 mm. Hand carved cow bone beads.

Most modern bone beads are made from cow or sheep or camel bones and are a byproduct of the food industry. In Kenya, skilled craftsmen carve and shape recycled bones, then use a wax resist batik process to create African designs.
